The Nordic Council of Ministers invites!| Lea Correa Pinto

The Nordic Council of Ministers would like to invite you all to join our on-line activities in the lead up to Rio+20.

Visit our new website or join us at facebook – we hope you will “like” our page there and maybe even follow us on twitter.

Today we have just launched our new blog, with articles coming up from leading sustainable development experts as well as politicians from the Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, along with Greenland, the Faroe Islands and the Aaland Islands. The blog will focus on issues relevant to Rio+20 and we hope to add in a constructive way to the global dialogue on sustainable development.

If you are going to attend the Rio+20 Conference, you can already now sign up for our events in Rio.

The events of the Nordic Council of Ministers include a side event on Seizing ecolabelling and Sustainable Public Procurement opportunities and three seminars:

More information on these seminars will follow when our program is finalized.

We will have a stand at Rio+20, but most of the resources are also available on-line, including the UN Drop by Drop ad competition, that we co-sponsor.

Please save this mail for future reference and join our efforts to promote dialogue and mutual learning.

Venlig hilsen/
Kind regards
