EU Research and Innovation @ GREEN WEEK 2012
From 22 to 25 May 2012 representatives from government, business and industry, NGOs, academia and the media will converge to Brussels for the new edition of Green Week, the largest annual conference on European environment policy. Green Week 2012 is mobilised around the theme of water to debate and exchange experience and best practice.
In this debate, research and innovation are considered key to provide the knowledge base on the issues at stake, investigate future scenarios, propose new solutions and translate them into technological breakthroughs and effective policy options for a sustainable and inclusive growth. At the eve of the Rio+20, the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation organises the side session:
